"I've had my MB10 for 6 weeks now and I'm really pleased with my purchase. I was looking at a Markbass initially and I was thinking to myself that although it was a nice product that it was somewhat pricey. When Carvin put out the MB series of bass amps I was really interested but I decided to wait until the feedback on the amps came back with positve reviews. I went with the MB10 because of its dimensions and weight and also because I already have a bass cab with a 15 inch speaker in it. I love the fact that I can carry it around easily from my car to rehearsal or a small gig with a bass in one trip! The eq is very flexible and with it being rated at 200 watts at 8 ohms it has more than enough juice to drive the external cabinet. It's nice by itself but I'm really digging on it with the 15 incher plugged into it. "

"Received this amp as a Christmas present. Wonderful little amp. Extremely versatile. Great tone, although somewhat more voiced with mids in mind, which is to be expected due to the size and being a sealed cab. Can't wait to use this on a gig. I'm loving the fact I'll be walking in with my bass & this little amp and be sounding great in about a minute!"

"Just got this amp and used it in a club that seats 400. Sounded great, louder than I thought it would be, and I didn't even have it as loud as it would go. The drums were not miked and there was no sub-woof, but plenty of sub frequencies! Great job Carvin!"

"The most singularly awesome amp I have ever bought in my 45 year career as an electric bass guitar player. You guys have created one of the most useful and versatile amps ever. It has all the tone and depth of my thunderfunk 500 tapped into my dr.bass 15" cab. You ROCK, Carvin. I couldn't be more pleased. I hope you sell a million of 'em, you deserve it. You have my business forever. Thanks!"

"This is a fantastic amp!! It sounds really good, crisp and clear tone. I was a little worried when I ordered it that it wouldn't have enough volume loud or have any decent low frequencies. However, it's got both and the best part is, it's so light! And the cover was definitely worth the extra $27!"

"I just received my MB10 this evening and within an hour, it was being "test driven" in rehearsal with my band. I am simply floored by the quality of this amplifier, from the fit & finish, to the vast tonal options, to the sheer "oomph" coming from the 1 x 10" combo! For the money, there is not another amplifier on Earth that touches the MB10 in sheer features & quality.

As a professional multi-instrumentalist, I sometimes find myself doing a drum gig one weekend and then two bass gigs or a guitar gig on a different weekend...having GREAT equipment that's light and portable is a MUST for me. For any/all bass work I do, the MB10 fits the bill perfectly. A++ to Carvin!"

"Can't say enough about this little Monster. More than enough for Small gigs all the way up to Gym Sized rooms with an extension Cab. Clear and Loud! Going to have to look into more Carvin Gear. Add another Believer to the List!"

"I want to add my words of praise for the MB10. I am a semi-pro bassist and use the amp with 4- & 5-string electric basses in a rock band setting, and with an electric upright in a bluegrass band. In the rock band, it has the punch and growl I need and if I need to move some serious air, I extend it with my 2x10 cab. For bluegrass, I can dial in that warm, thick bottom end that's needed. And my middle age back is much appreciative of the light weight. Thanks Carvin!"

Tony Eldon San Rafael, CA
"The MB10 is an incredibly good small amp. It's loud, punchy, and clean, and sounds full enough to fill up rehearsal rooms and small clubs as long as you're not trying to play stadium rock or eye gouging metal. Moderate volume it's great. You have to crank the Bass control on the amp and/or on your active bass to get a really deep bottom end, but when you do that the amp puts out and doesn't break up at all. The Contour control creates a killer slap tone, too. The MB10 sounds great. Great job, Carvin!"

"I have no idea how you can sell my brand new MB10 bass amp at this price and still make a profit!"

Harry Sechrest Ogden, IA
"I just bought this amp after reading all the reviews I could find. I've run it through it's paces at rehersal and I'm very impressed with the amount of low end this little amp puts out. I also have the 15" extension cab on the way so I'm expecting double the enjoyment. I can't believe how light weight and feature rich this little amp is. I'm an older player and I'm retired. This amp is such a relief on my back moving it from place to place. Carvin has done a super job with this amp and I will certainly spread the word."

"After playing bass for 35 years, I finally achieved my ultimate gear set-up using a Carvin BX500 amp with a Carvin BR115 cabinet, a Carvin MB10 combo and a Rickenbacker 4003 bass. This set up gives me the ability to use the "RIC-O-Sound" using both Carvin amplifiers. WOW, the sound is unbelievable. You guys know how to make a great product. And it's all made in the USA! Thanks."Â
